Area Governor Area 44 Governor: Karen Elyssa Novek, CC/ALB

Joining Toastmaster's in 2006 was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. The encouragement and support I've received from my Toastmaster family is incredible. They've helped me to take risks, step outside of my comfort zone and build-up my self confidence. During this time I've served in two officer roles; Sgt at Arms and our club President. This year I'm working toward my ACB and ALS. I have over 20 years experience as a consultant in the fitness/nutrition/wellness industry, a freelance writer and have completed my first "how to" book. One of my passions in life is that I enjoy helping others. Area 44, I look forward to working with all of you. We are going to have an exciting year.agtext>
